The room was beautiful with a cozy lounge area and TV, plus a bathtub.

Peaceful and beautiful location, we really enjoyed staying here.

Location: the hotel was just next door to Aughton, the fine dining experiences and Aintree racecourse. Plus, it was about 15 minutes' drive to St Michael's Church. Actually, the room was clean, it also had a shower, a hairdryer, and soft bathrobes.

Our room had a private bathroom with a shower, which was a major plus for us. It felt nice to have our own space to freshen up without having to share with others. The double room had a private entrance, giving us a sense of privacy and independence during our stay. We appreciated the convenience of having an electric kettle and tea/coffee maker in our room. It made it easy for us to enjoy a hot cup of coffee or tea whenever we wanted.

Personally, we weren't too keen on the bathrobe provided in the double room. It didn't quite match our style, but we understand that others might still find it enjoyable.

This place is conveniently located near great dining options and other attractions.

We got amazing value for our money at Mickering Barn. The room was comfortable, cozy, and furnished to a high standard. The location was great, with plenty of room to relax and even the neighbor's alpacas saying hello!

The breakfast, while very nice, could have been improved with a larger selection of vegetarian options.

Comfortable, well-furnished rooms. Impeccably clean. Impressive amenities, including a private bar. Attentive and friendly hosts. Delicious and satisfying breakfast. Will definitely return.

Beautiful location, close to the village with great dining options. Lovely countryside surroundings and the presence of alpacas nearby added to the charm. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, even providing a list of taxi services. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, with generous portions.

The hot tub was not in working condition during our stay, although it seemed to be a one-time occurrence. the mattress in our room was slightly hard for our liking, but this is subjective and may not be an issue for everyone.

My partner and I recently stayed at Mickering Barn for a short getaway. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. The room itself was stunning and furnished to a high standard, with a separate lounge area for added comfort. The outdoor area was also lovely, and we particularly loved starting our day with a hot tub dip before a delicious breakfast. It was a heatwave during our stay, but the hosts provided us with a fan to help cool down our room. our experience was fantastic and we can't recommend this B&B enough.
